  • Trimester Programs: With 4 trimester programs, you can acquire a condensed educational experience in a shorter period of time.

  • Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Programs: There are 14 Ph.D. programs that provide opportunities to contribute to your in-depth research areas.

  • Master of Arts (MA) and Master of Science (MSc) by Research: In these 16 research programs, you will combine research skills and knowledge to understand critical issues in language and communication.

  • Coursework Master's Programs: There are 5 coursework master's programs that focus on practical skill development in the field of modern languages and communication.

  • Led by the Dean and assisted by 3 Deputy Deans, 4 Department Heads, a Deputy Registrar, and 2 Assistant Registrars.
  • Comprising a team of 143 staff members, including academic staff (lecturers) and support staff.
  • Serving approximately 2,500 students, including full-time, part-time (evening classes), and postgraduate students.
 

 

Stepping out of the Ivory Tower as a distinguished graduate of UPM doesn't mean that your connection with the community here comes to a halt. UPM welcomes its alumni to join the UPM Alumni Association, specially established to strengthen the bonds and beneficial networks across various fields of expertise. Many UPM Alumni members have been recognized as ambassadors for their significant contributions in their respective fields, leaving a significant impact on society and the nation, thereby enhancing the university's international reputation.

Since 1971, UPM Alumni has grown to include over 145,000 individuals, not only from Malaysia but from all around the world, spanning countries such as Australia, Iran, France, Myanmar, and Saudi Arabia. Driven by a desire to foster unity among the esteemed university community, UPM Alumni has successfully shared great ideas and voiced critical perspectives to further the development of a dynamic university in realizing its vision and mission.
