SERDANG, 4 JULY 2026 – The Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication (FBMK), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), successfully organised FBMK Postgraduate Open Day 2026, aimed at introducing postgraduate study opportunities while enhancing public understanding of the role of language, communication and branding in industry development.

Held on Saturday, 4 July 2026, from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm at Auditorium Za’ba, FBMK, UPM, the programme featured a variety of engaging activities, including forums, interactive exhibitions, games, wellness activities and a flea market.

One of the key highlights was a special forum entitled “Malaysian Hospitality: Driving International Tourism through Brand and Communication”, held from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm. The forum provided participants with valuable insights and perspectives from distinguished speakers on the importance of branding and communication in strengthening Malaysia’s tourism industry and enhancing its international appeal.

The event also provided prospective students with an opportunity to obtain information on postgraduate programmes and experience the academic environment at FBMK.

Adding further value to the event, the application processing fee was waived, offering an additional incentive to prospective candidates interested in pursuing postgraduate studies.

FBMK Postgraduate Open Day 2026 served as a strategic platform connecting academia, industry and the community in exploring the future of education, communication and Malaysia’s tourism development.
