UPM SERDANG, MAY 23, 2024 - A total of 42 students from SMK Pekan Baru Muar, Batu Pahat, Johor, along with 7 accompanying teachers, conducted an academic visit to the Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication (FBMK), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) on May 20, 2024.

The visit commenced with an academic briefing held at Za'ba Auditorium, FBMK. The briefing was delivered by Dr. Siti Ramizah Khairunnisa Mohd Radzi, who provided in-depth insights into the various programs offered at the faculty.

In addition to the academic briefing, the visitors were also taken to visit PutraFM, where they had the opportunity to experience the atmosphere and work environment of a radio station. The visit continued to the Muzium Warisan Melayu, which offered them a chance to learn about and appreciate the rich and unique Malay cultural heritage.

The Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication expresses its gratitude to SMK Pekan Baru Muar for choosing the faculty as one of their academic visit destinations. Visits like these are hoped to inspire and provide valuable information to the students in planning their academic futures.
