On July 16, 2024, the Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication received a visit from the Faculty of Education and Teaching UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, Indonesia. This visit involved 4 lecturers and 16 students from the university. They also had the opportunity to visit PutraFM and the Malay Heritage Museum to experience being on the radio and to explore Malay old artifacts.

 

The welcoming visit also involved the faculty management members consisting of Associate Prof. Dr. Adi Yasran (Deputy Dean of Academics and Students), Associate Prof. Dr. Zalina Mohd Kasim (Graduate and International Deputy Dean), Associate Prof. Dr. Arbaayah Ali Termizi (Head of English Department), Associate Prof. Dr. Abd Rauf Hassan (Head of Foreign Language Department), Mr. Husaini Amir Nik (Assistant Registrar) and the lecturers of the Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication.

 

This visit was the first stop before moving to the University of Malaya, and then they will continue their journey to Thailand. Thank you to the Faculty of Education and Teaching at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta for being willing to organize a road trip to FBMK, UPM today. I hope the next trip goes smoothly and safely.
