UPM SERDANG, 2 April 2024 - Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) has organized the UPM Global Outreach - UPM Open Day 2024 program in Tangerang, Indonesia. This program has successfully attracted the participation of 450 high school students (Sekolah Menengah Atas or SMA) from across Indonesia.
Furthermore, the program has also received active support and participation from representatives of the Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication (FBMK) of UPM. These representatives from FBMK are led by the Dean of FBMK himself, demonstrating the university's commitment to promoting Malaysian higher education to Indonesian students.
The UPM Global Outreach - UPM Open Day program provides an opportunity for SMA students to obtain further information about the study programs offered at UPM. Additionally, the program also exposes students to campus life and the opportunities available at UPM.
With such a large participation and support from the representatives of FBMK UPM, it is hoped that this program can enhance the understanding and interest of Indonesian students in pursuing their studies at Universiti Putra Malaysia. This also signifies a positive step in strengthening the relationship between UPM and educational institutions and communities in Indonesia.
