UPM SERDANG, MARCH 25, 2025 – The Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition at the faculty level was successfully held on 21 March 2025 at Bilik Seri Amar, Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication (FBMK), UPM. The competition featured six participants, all of whom were PhD students from FBMK.

The 3MT competition aims to test participants' ability to present their research ideas concisely, clearly, and engagingly within just three minutes. Contestants were evaluated based on clarity, content, and effectiveness of their presentation.

After a series of informative and intense presentations, the top three winners were announced. The champion received a cash prize of RM500, while the runner-up and third-place winner took home RM300 and RM200, respectively.

The successful organization of the 3MT competition reflects FBMK UPM’s commitment to producing researchers who excel not only academically but also in effectively communicating their research findings to the public. Congratulations to all participants and winners!
