UPM SERDANG, FEBRUARY 7, 2025 – The Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication (FBMK), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), through the Research, Industry and Community Network Unit (PJINM), organised the Workshop on Pitching Proposals at Bilik Seri Amar, FBMK on February 5, 2025. This workshop aimed to enhance researchers' skills in effectively presenting their ideas and research proposals to key stakeholders such as evaluators, funders, and research partners.  

The programme was attended by all researchers from the Universiti Digital Research Programme (UDRP) and Putra Digital Research Programme (PDRP) at FBMK. Through this session, participants had the opportunity to refine their presentation techniques, sharpen their communication skills, and receive constructive feedback to improve their research proposals.  

The workshop featured Prof Dr Alyani Ismail, Director of the PUTRA International Centre (i-PUTRA), as the main speaker. Also in attendance were Assoc Prof Dr Hazlina Abdul Halim, Dean of FBMK, and Assoc Prof Dr Akmar Hayati Ahmad Ghazali, Deputy Dean of PJINM, FBMK.  

The organisation of this workshop aligns with FBMK’s commitment to enhancing researchers' competitiveness and ensuring that the research produced is of high quality and relevant to current needs.
