UPM SERDANG, MAY 29, 2024 - The briefing on industrial training preparation for the First Semester 2024/2025 students at Za'ba Auditorium, Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication (FBMK) took place on May 24, 2024. This briefing was organised by the Office of the Deputy Dean (Academic and Student Affairs) with the aim of providing insights and guidance to students who will undergo industrial training.

The briefing session was delivered by three panelists, including a guest panelist and two senior lecturers from the Department of Communication. The guest panelist was Ms. Zarina Md Ismail, Head of Marketing, Communications, and Partner Manager from TM Global. Ms. Zarina shared her experiences and insights about the industry and provided practical advice to students to prepare themselves for the working world. Also serving as panelists were Dr. Sharifah Sofiah Syed Zainudin, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Communication, who provided insights into effective communication in the workplace and the importance of interpersonal skills, and Dr. Mohamad Noor Salehhuddin Sharipudin, also a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Communication, who emphasised academic aspects and how students can apply theoretical knowledge in practical situations.

Thank you to the panelists who generously shared their knowledge and experiences, as well as to the students who attended this briefing session. It is hoped that this briefing will be greatly beneficial to FBMK students who will be undergoing industrial training. May this preparation help students face industrial training with more confidence and readiness, ultimately achieving excellent success in their respective fields.
