UPM SERDANG - As part of the Palestine Solidarity Month initiative, ÆTLAS Club successfully organised the Palestine Literature Day, aimed at raising awareness of the importance of preserving Palestinian culture and literature on a global scale. The programme featured the sharing of Palestinian literary works rich in sociocultural and historical elements of the nation.
The event received an enthusiastic response from club members, UPM students, and other attendees who participated virtually via the Zoom platform. The event was further enlivened by the presence of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Noritah Omar, Club Advisor; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arbaayah Ali Termizi, Head of the English Department; and Dr. Fazilah Husin, FBMK lecturer.
This programme successfully provided participants with the opportunity to delve into the beauty and uniqueness of Palestinian literature. We hope this event will continue to strengthen solidarity with Palestine and foster interest in Palestinian culture among the public.
