SERDANG, September 2– The closing ceremony of the 13th Malaysia International Conference on Languages, Literatures, and Cultures (MICOLLAC 2025) took place at St. Giles Wembley Penang, marking the conclusion of the three-day academic discourse organized by the Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication (FBMK), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).

Held under the theme “Bridging Words and Worlds: Dynamic Dialogues in Languages, Literatures and Cultures”, the conference brought together distinguished scholars, researchers, and participants from various countries to exchange ideas and foster collaboration in the fields of language, literature, and culture.
The ceremony was graced by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hardev Kaur Jujar Singh, Chairperson of MICOLLAC 2025, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arbaayah Ali Termizi, Head of the Department of English, FBMK, UPM.

Two keynote speakers also delivered insightful sessions during the conference, namely Prof. Dr. Hsu-Ming Teo from Macquarie University, Australia, and Dr. Maya Ká½¹vskaya from Chiang Mai University, Thailand.
The closing ceremony was attended by organizing committee members as well as local and international participants of MICOLLAC 2025, reflecting the continued efforts of FBMK UPM in strengthening global academic partnerships and promoting cross-cultural understanding.
