UPM SERDANG - On 26 November 2024, the International Undergraduate Seminar 2024 (SAPSIS), organised by the Department of Malay Language, Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication, in collaboration with Universitas Brawijaya, East Java, Indonesia, was held online. The seminar was officiated by YBhg. Dean Associate Professor Dr. Hazlina Abdul Halim and chaired by Dr. Muhammad Faizul Abdul Hamid.

This year’s SAPSIS theme, "Fostering Knowledge and Service Across Multidisciplinary Malaysia-Indonesia Collaboration," reflects the aspirations of both universities to harmonise the diverse academic disciplines of the two nations.

The seminar focused on students sharing the findings of their Bachelor’s Dissertation, which is their final-year research project. The areas of study presented included language, literature, history, and culture.

The seminar concluded with a speech by YBhg. Associate Professor Dr. Hamamah, Dean of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Brawijaya.
