UPM SERDANG, MAY 8, 2025 – The Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication (FBMK), Universiti Putra Malaysia, conducted the Internal PTJ Audit for the Information Security Management System (ISMS) in accordance with the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 standard on 7 May 2025 (Wednesday) at ISO Room 1, FBMK.

The audit was conducted by Mr. Syed Izaharudden Syed Isa (HSAAS), serving as the Internal ISMS Auditor for the department (PTJ). The purpose of the audit was to assess the effectiveness of the faculty's information security management system, ensure compliance with the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 standard requirements, and enhance the level of information security within management and administrative operations. Throughout the audit, faculty members demonstrated excellent cooperation, particularly in the areas of documentation, monitoring of information security controls, and participation in review sessions and audit interviews.

This audit reflects FBMK’s ongoing commitment to maintaining a high standard of information security management in line with the evolving needs of higher education institutions.
