UPM SERDANG, JUNE 17, 2025 – The Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication (FBMK) successfully organised the FBMK Excellence Awards Ceremony Edition VI (MAKFBMKVI) on 13 June 2025 at the Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication, Universiti Putra Malaysia. The event was held in collaboration with the Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication Student Representative Council (FALCOMM) for the 2024/2025 session. The main aim of the ceremony was to recognise and honour students who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance. It also served as an important platform to cultivate a spirit of excellence among students and encourage them to strive for even greater achievements over time.

Among the awards presented was the Vice Chancellor’s Award, given to students who achieved the highest academic performance at the university level. In addition, the Dean’s Honour Award was also presented to students who attained excellent academic results in each programme under their respective departments, as a token of appreciation for their commendable achievements.

Beyond recognition, the event also stands as a testament to FBMK’s commitment to acknowledging the hard work of its students, while strengthening the culture of academic excellence within the faculty community. It is hoped that the continuation of such events will serve as both an inspiration and a motivational catalyst for all students to consistently pursue academic excellence.
