UPM SERDANG, April 2, 2024 - The Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication (FBMK) of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) has achieved remarkable success in the Inter-Departmental Arts, Culture & Heritage Quiz SEBUDI 2.0 organized by the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Cultural and Arts Center, UPM, on February 21 to 22, 2024.

The FBMK team consisting of Dr. Hani Salwah Yaakup (Senior Lecturer, Department of Communication), Ms. Noor Afiqah Che Soh (Deputy Dean's Office for Research, Industry, and Community Networking), and Mr. Muhammad Adibfikri Hasji (Malay Heritage Museum) clinched the title of champions in the quiz. This success is evidence of the team's proficiency and competence in mastering the fields of arts, culture, and heritage.

Not only did the FBMK team win the championship title, but they also secured the additional prize for the Best Overall Team Category in the Semi-Final Stage. This achievement was obtained thanks to the team's proficiency in answering all the questions given accurately and excellently.

The final stage of the competition was also enlivened by the presence of loyal supporters from the FBMK community and was attended by the Dean of FBMK on February 23, 2024. The presence of supporters and full support from the university added more spirit and joy to the victory of the FBMK team. This outstanding achievement proves that FBMK UPM is an entity capable of excelling in various fields, including arts, culture, and heritage.
