The Summer Camp program ESCAPADE 2024, organized by the Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication (FBMK) at UPM, began on July 9, 2024. The week-long program took place at FBMK and was attended by 15 participants from Chuxiong Normal University, China. The group included 14 students and was accompanied by Mrs. Ma Yuanping.

 

ESCAPADE 2024 aims to introduce Malaysian culture to participants from China. On the first day, they visited traditional houses at the Malay Heritage Site. They also toured the Malay Heritage Museum where they were introduced to traditional games such as ‘Congkak’, as well as creative activities like coloring ‘Labu Sayong’ and making 'Bunga Rampai' to be used as natural fragrances.
