SERDANG, 8 August 2026 – The Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication (FBMK), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), continues to strengthen its international collaboration through the organisation of Putra X FBMK 2026, which brought together 25 students from Hangzhou Dianzi University, China.

Held on 27, 28 and 30 July 2026, the programme provided participants with valuable academic and cross-cultural experiences through a series of learning activities specially designed by FBMK.

Throughout the programme, participants took part in five learning sessions conducted by FBMK lecturers, namely Interpersonal Communication Skills, Wax Painting Handicraft Experience, Creative Expression, Communication Psychology, and Public Presentation.

The diverse programme content not only exposed participants to various aspects of communication but also encouraged them to explore creativity, arts and culture. At the same time, the activities provided opportunities for participants to enhance their confidence in communication and develop their ability to interact in a cross-cultural environment.

The successful implementation of the programme was also supported by FBMK staff, including lecturers, the organising committee and buddies, who played an important role in ensuring the smooth running of the activities and providing participants with a meaningful learning experience throughout their stay.

Putra X FBMK 2026 reflects FBMK’s commitment to expanding international mobility opportunities through academic experiences that integrate learning, creativity and cultural exchange. Initiatives such as this also provide students with opportunities to establish international networks and gain a broader understanding of diverse perspectives in a global environment.

FBMK extends its sincere appreciation to Hangzhou Dianzi University, the lecturers, organising committee, buddies and all participants for their contributions towards the success of the programme.

It is hoped that the collaboration between Universiti Putra Malaysia and Hangzhou Dianzi University will continue to be strengthened through more academic programmes, student mobility initiatives and international collaborations in the future.
