"FBMK is a faculty with many disabled students at UPM, totaling 26 people. Therefore, we are running this program at FBMK as a step towards empowering the disabled community and ensuring they are not left behind in the educational mainstream," she said.
Among the activities conducted during this program were sharing sessions about the challenges faced by people with disabilities, performances by disabled students, and visual impairment simulations.
Meanwhile, the program advisor Dr. Mastura Mahamed said FBMK has taken proactive steps by enhancing disability-friendly facilities such as special pathways to lecture rooms and disability-friendly toilets.
