Since childhood, Nur Shafika Ahmad Kamil has been exposed to the sport of hockey. This is because, at that time, her older sister was already involved in the sport, and Nur Shafika developed the same interest.

 

"I started getting seriously involved in hockey at the age of 10 while studying at Sekolah Kebangsaan Telok Kalong, Kemaman, Terengganu."

 

"I can say my sister is the main reason I got involved in this sport because I often saw her in action," said Nur Shafika, 21, who is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Communication at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) to K2.
