UPM SERDANG – The 2024 National-Level Mahrajan Camp 2.0 concluded with a Closing Ceremony officiated by Tuan Haji Haris Dahlan, Director of the Centre for Waqf, Zakat, and Endowment (WAZAN), UPM. The event was held in a lively atmosphere at the Za'ba Auditorium, Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication, UPM.

Also in attendance were Associate Professor Dr. Adi Yasran Abdul Aziz, Deputy Dean (Academic and Student Affairs), faculty management members, school principals, accompanying teachers, and sixth-form students from seven participating schools. The program aimed to uncover students’ talents and nurture teamwork and excellence in various fields.

Mahrajan Camp 2.0 featured 13 exciting competitions, including forums in three languages, Quran recitation, nasheed performances, a language exploration race, and several sports events. The participating schools included SMKA Maahad Muar, SMKA Sultan Azlan Shah, SMKA Maahad Hamidiah, SMKA Putrajaya, SAMT Sultan Hisamuddin, SAMT Tengku Ampuan Jemaah, and SMK Putrajaya Precinct 5.

Several notable achievements were recorded throughout the camp. SMKA Sultan Azlan Shah emerged victorious in the Arabic Language Forum, Women’s Volleyball, and Men’s Ping Pong. SAMT Tengku Ampuan Jemaah claimed first place in the Malay Language Forum and the Quran Recitation (Qari) category. Meanwhile, SMKA Maahad Hamidiah secured victories in the English Language Forum, Nasheed, Men’s Badminton, Women’s Ping Pong, and the Quran Recitation (Qariah) category. SMK Putrajaya Precinct 5 also excelled, winning the Language Exploration Race and Men’s Sepak Takraw.

The most outstanding achievement was by SMKA Maahad Hamidiah, crowned Overall Champion for the Chief of Foreign Languages Department Trophy. This accomplishment cemented their reputation as national-level champions and served as an inspiration for other students to strive for excellence.
