Symposium Get Ready: Industrial Training GRIT Series 1/2026 Empowers Students for the Professional World

Serdang, 13–14 May 2026 – The Symposium Get Ready: Industrial Training (GRIT) Series 1/2026 was successfully held through a series of insightful and engaging sessions aimed at preparing students for industrial training and the professional working environment.

The two-day programme brought together experienced speakers and industry professionals who shared valuable knowledge, practical insights, and career guidance with participants. Among the highlighted sessions were “Beyond the Script: Presenting with Presence”, “Cracking the Hiring Code: Effective CV & Successful Interviews”, and “Internship Roadmap: Kickstart Your Career with Jobstreet”, which focused on communication skills, career preparation, and interview strategies.

In addition, participants were exposed to diverse perspectives in the fields of language, translation, and communication through sessions such as “English-Chinese Translation: Beyond Mere Words”, “Keterampilan dan Komunikasi Organisasi: Imaginasi vs Realiti”, and “Translation & Gamification”, highlighting the importance of creativity and innovation in today’s professional landscape.

The symposium also featured a session titled “Attention is The New Currency: How Modern Brands Win in the Digital Age”, which provided insights into branding strategies and digital communication in the modern technological era.

The organisation of this symposium is hoped to help students build confidence, strengthen soft skills, and equip themselves with relevant knowledge and experience before embarking on industrial training and entering the professional workforce.
