
UPM SERDANG, JANUARY 26, 2025 – The Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication (FBMK), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), recently welcomed the Foundation Centre for Science Universiti Putra Malaysia (ASPutra) Roadshow on January 17, 2025. The visit aimed to provide students with deeper insights into the academic programmes offered by FBMK and an overview of campus life at UPM.
The visit commenced with an academic briefing delivered by Associate Professor Dr. Adi Yasran Abdul Aziz, deputy dean of Academic and Student Affairs, where students were given detailed information about the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes available at FBMK. The session also included a Q&A segment, allowing students to seek additional details about the curriculum, faculty activities, and career opportunities. The briefing provided valuable insights into the benefits of pursuing studies at UPM.
Following the briefing, students visited the Malay Heritage Museum, where they had the opportunity to explore Malaysia's history, culture, and national identity in greater depth. This experience helped them gain a better understanding of Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage and its relevance to the university’s educational framework.
The visit aimed to familiarise students with the campus environment, learning facilities, and academic opportunities available at UPM. It not only provided them with a better understanding of the programmes offered at FBMK but also helped shape a clearer perspective on the university’s values and culture. Through this visit, students gained useful insights for planning their academic future at FBMK, UPM.
