UPM SERDANG, MAY 19, 2025 - Six students from the Bachelor of Arts in French Studies programme, Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication (FBMK), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), participated in the French Cross-Culture Study Tour organised by the student club Le Cercle Français UPM under the auspices of FALCOMM for the 2024/2025 session. The programme was held at the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

Held from 3 to 9 May 2025, the programme involved 24 students from the French Language and Literature programme at UGM. This initiative provided valuable insights into the organisational structure of French language student communities, exposure to Francophone cultures, and opportunities for intercultural learning.

It is hoped that more programmes of this nature will be organised in the future to further strengthen inter-university ties and enhance the understanding of French language and culture among students.
