UPM SERDANG, FEBRUARY 17, 2025 - The Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication (FBMK), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), organised the Event and Protocol Management Workshop on 12 February 2025. The workshop was held at Bilik Seri Amar, FBMK, with the aim of enhancing the faculty members' knowledge and skills in handling official events and protocol management.

The workshop was conducted by Puan Nur Sabrina Marzuki, Head of the Event Management, Protocol, and Corporate Visitors Section, PSPK, UPM, with the active participation of FBMK executive staff. Throughout the session, participants were exposed to various important aspects, including official etiquette, seating arrangements, event programme planning, and best practices in managing official faculty and university events.

In the afternoon session, a practical training session was conducted through an event simulation, where participants had the opportunity to apply the knowledge gained in a real event setting. This activity provided a more comprehensive experience, along with immediate feedback from the invited expert should there be any improvements to be implemented.

We extend our appreciation to all participants who demonstrated full commitment throughout the workshop. It is hoped that the knowledge acquired will be beneficial in ensuring that event management at FBMK, UPM, is more professional, organised, and in accordance with the established protocol standards.
