Serdang, 16 April 2023 - The Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication (FBMK) of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) has implemented the program "From the Crater to the Heart, Distribution of Lambuk Porridge FBMK" on 14 April 2023. This program is a result of the organization of FBMK. A total of 1000 containers of bubur lambuk have been distributed to UPM students and staff.
The program held aims to strengthen the friendship between the faculty and the surrounding community as well as foster a caring spirit among staff and students. This lovingly cooked lambuk porridge has been distributed to campus residents and is expected to bring happiness to the recipients.
Associate Prof. Dr. Hazlina Abd Halim, Dean of FBMK UPM, stated that this program is one of the faculty's initiatives to help the surrounding community and convey a message of goodness, especially in this holy month. He also thanked everyone involved in making this program a success, including the FBMK Student Association (FALCOMM).
The recipients of bubur lambuk consisting of UPM students and staff have welcomed this program. Most of them were grateful and moved to receive the gift of bubur lambuk which was distributed sincerely.
With a program like this, it is hoped that the spirit of togetherness and concern for fellow human beings can be applied in the community and create a harmonious and blessed atmosphere in this glorious month.
