Syarat Keperluan Bahasa Inggeris

APPLICABLE TO ALL NEW STUDENTS ENROLLED BEGINNING SEPTEMBER 2023 ONWARDS

All international applicants who plans to apply a programme in Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication are required to submit english requirement.
Below is the score that will be accepted to secure a place at Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication, and a candidate just needs to meet one of them during application or registration:

1.	English Programmes	6.0	65-78	109	169-175	Band 4 (211-257)	59-62	There is no provisional offer for the programme offered. Applicants are required to submit one of these scores during the submission of their application.
2.	Communication Programmes							A candidate who obtains lower than requirement given or even doesn't have english language is required to join PIE during the first semester of his or her study or submit a new score to convert the offer to full during the registration process.
3.	Cross Department Programmes	5.0	45-50	106	154-161	Band 3 (123-163)	47-50	FULL OFFER: An international applicant applying for direct admission into the Malay Language Studies, Arabic, or Chinese Literature & cross-departmental field of study, or any other programme that allows a thesis to be written in the language of instruction, must have obtained a minimum score of this score.

NOTE:

IELTS INDICATOR, APTIS, DUOLINGO, AND TOEFL ITP are not acceptable to meet the English Language requirement.
Cambridge Linguaskill through Centre for the Advancement of Language Competence only.
The validity period of the English Language Proficiency score should not be more than five years.
