Program Overview

The Bridging Program currently links to undergraduate programs in various popular fields, including:

Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication (FBMK)

• Bachelor of Communication with Honours
• Bachelor of Arts in Chinese Language Studies with Honours
• Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Linguistics with Honours

The program offers a variety of courses to provide students with options. It will continue to grow by adding more academic fields to enhance development opportunities.

Program Details

• Duration: Six (6) months
• Location: Jinan, China
• Undergraduate Intake: March and October

Process

• Phase One (1): The bridging program lasts six (6) months, focusing on intensive studies in China to establish a strong preparatory in language and preparatory coursework.
• Phase Two (2): Students who complete the bridging program and the Certified Intensive English Program (CIEP) by ELS can enroll in undergraduate studies at UPM, including Bachelor’s degrees in the Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication (FBMK)

• The bridging program is offered locally, while the undergraduate program requires students to complete their studies in Malaysia.
• UPM confers a bachelor's degree upon the successful completion of the required program.
