Presidential Welcome Words

Assalamualaikum and greetings to all FBMK members.

First and foremost, on behalf of FALCOMM for the 2025/2026 session, I would like to congratulate and welcome all new students of the 2025/2026 session, especially those from the Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication (FBMK), to Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). You are among the exceptional and fortunate students selected to pursue your studies at one of the world’s top universities and the second-best university in Malaysia. For your information, students from this faculty will automatically be registered as members of the Faculty Student Representative Council, Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication (FALCOMM).

The Faculty’s Association of Modern Languages and Communication, or FALCOMM, is a Student Representative Council (SRC) that oversees the welfare of FBMK students, regardless of their study programs. The purpose of establishing this association is to build a bridge of friendship between students, lecturers, and faculty management, while producing graduates with outstanding capabilities, human capital, and a first-class mindset.

I hope we can all work together to create a collective spirit in successfully executing student activities at the faculty level, as your participation will enrich your experience and create beautiful memories throughout your studies here. Not only that, but I also hope that all students will become competitive and healthy in both academic and co-curricular fields.
