Presidential Welcome Words

Assalamualaikum and good day,

First and foremost, I would like to extend my congratulations and a warm welcome to all new students of the intake session 2023/2024, particularly those from the Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication (FBMK) at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). You are among the outstanding and fortunate students selected to pursue your studies at one of the world's top-ranking universities, standing at 123rd globally and second in Malaysia. For your information, students from this faculty will automatically be registered as members of the Faculty's Association of Modern Languages and Communication (FALCOMM).

FALCOMM, or the Faculty's Association of Modern Languages and Communication, is a Faculty Student Association (FSA) that oversees student affairs in FBMK, regardless of the academic program. The establishment of this association aims to foster camaraderie among students, faculty members, and the faculty administration, as well as to nurture skilled students with first-class intellect and character.

Let us together cultivate a sense of community spirit to make all student activities at the faculty level a success, as your participation will enhance your experiences and create beautiful memories during your academic journey. Furthermore, I hope that you, as students, can become competitively strong in both academic and extracurricular pursuits.

In conclusion, congratulations once again to all FBMK students who have successfully enrolled as UPM students. May you all continue to prosper in the future.
