Cyberjaya, 22 May 2023 - The Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication Student Association (FALCOMM) has successfully implemented the Meet Us at WAU tour program! successfully. This program is held on Monday, 22 May 2023, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at WAU Animation Studio, Cyberjaya.
This tour program aims to broaden students' knowledge about the making of a very famous local animation work, namely the animation of Ejen Ali. The students who participated in this program were given the opportunity to deepen the basic theory of editing and improve their talent and knowledge in the field of animation.
WAU Animation Studio, as Agent Ali's production studio, has opened its doors to FALCOMM to conduct this tour. The studio is happy to welcome FALCOMM students who are interested in the field of animation. They were given a detailed explanation of the creative and technical processes involved in the making of the popular Malaysian and regional animation series Ejen Ali.
In addition, the students also had the opportunity to interact directly with local animation industry activists who were involved in the making of Agent Ali. They can ask questions related to the industry and get valuable insights from experts in the field of animation.
During the visit program, FALCOMM students have witnessed directly the animation making process and also the editing done in the studio. They've gotten a clearer picture of the step-by-step involved in creating this popular Agent Ali animated series.
Prof. Associate Dr. Adi Yasran, FALCOMM advisor, stated that the Meet Us at WAU! this is a beneficial and motivating experience for students in the field of animation. He hopes that programs like this will continue to be organized to produce more young talents in the local animation industry.
With the end of the Meet Us at WAU! this, FALCOMM hopes that the students will continue to take advantage of the knowledge and experience gained to strengthen the local animation field. They intend to continue their efforts in helping to advance the Malaysian animation industry to a higher level.
