UPM-Erasmus+Media Literacy Project

UPM is one of nine partners in an international project entitled “International Media Studies: Media Literacy as Media Competence Program for Social Change.” The overall goal of the MEDLIT project in Malaysia is to promote and enhance media literacy and competency among young people in the country particularly those at tertiary education level. This two year project involves nine universities with University of Vienna as its project leader and coordinator. The project is established by a grant from the European Commission within the framework of the Erasmus Plus program for Capacity-building in the Field of Higher-Education. The Department of Communication, Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication is the project’s implementing body in UPM.
