Often, there is a gap between our good intentions and our actual behavior - what we claim to do and how we actually act. What is concerning is that sometimes we are not aware of the difference between what we think we are doing and what we are actually doing.
Aligning our actions with our intentions is challenging because our subconscious mind can influence and even affect our behavior and decision-making. Although we may perceive our actions to be guided by conscious and rational thinking, only a small part of our brain is actively involved in conscious reasoning.
