SERDANG, October 5 – Deputy Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi described the Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication (FBMK), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) as a center of academic excellence and a bastion of national identity formation, which has produced many distinguished figures across various fields.

He said that UPM is not merely an institution for earning degrees but a platform for nurturing spirit, discipline, and commitment. 

“Language is the soul of a nation, and communication is the bridge of civilization. May this pearl of knowledge continue to shine for generations to come,” he expressed.

He shared these remarks in his speech at the FBMK Pearl Radiance Gala, held in conjunction with the 30th anniversary celebration of the faculty at Universiti Putra Malaysia on Saturday.
