People with an arrogant attitude often imagine that their way of seeing the world is the only true and noble way. They boast about their abilities, often to an extreme degree, and see themselves as limitless and flawless. Even in the face of failure, they cling to the illusion of their own truth.
Indeed, such attitudes contribute to irresponsible behavior, recklessness, and even immoral actions. Uncontrolled self-absorption drives many leaders toward self-destruction, dragging their organizations or countries down with them.
