UPM SERDANG, APRIL 4, 2024 - The Putra Cakna 2.0 Program at the Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication (FBMK) demonstrated a strong commitment to charity and unity. An iftar event was organized as part of the program, bringing together orphans from Baitul Ulfah, asnaf students, and FBMK residents. The event fostered warmth and camaraderie, strengthening social bonds among the participants.

Simultaneously, the Launching Ceremony of the FBMK Mosque Development Fund was held. The event was inaugurated by YBhg. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hazlina Abdul Halim, Dean of FBMK, accompanied by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd Daud Awang, Director of WAZAN. A highlight of the event was the presence of contributions from various parties, including Mahsuri Dagang Sdn. Bhd., Media Mulia Sdn. Bhd., and Aras Mega (M) Sdn. Bhd., who contributed to the development of the FBMK mosque.

In the spirit of giving and sharing, donations of Eid money and daily/suhoor necessities for orphans and asnaf students were distributed on the same day. Mahsuri Dagang Sdn. Bhd., Media Mulia Sdn. Bhd., and Aras Mega (M) Sdn. Bhd., along with several individuals, participated as contributors in this humanitarian effort.

This event not only demonstrates solidarity and compassion for others but also sets an example for society on the importance of helping those in need. Hopefully, such initiatives will continue to provide significant benefits to all parties involved and inspire a spirit of goodness within the community.
