UPM SERDANG, APRIL 30, 2024 - On April 24, 2024, the grand opening of the Malaysia International Conference Foreign Languages (MICFL) 2024, the 8th edition, took place magnificently at the Auditorium Jurutera Raden Umar, Faculty of Engineering, UPM. This prestigious event was graced by the Deputy Chancellor of Universiti Putra Malaysia, YBhg. Dato’ Professor Dr. Ahmad Farhan Mohd Sadullah.

The much-anticipated conference spanned 2 days, from April 24 to April 25, 2024. It commenced with an inspiring keynote session by YBhg. Prof. Dr. Sze Wing Tang from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, followed by Plenary 1, which was enriched with knowledge from YBhg. Prof. Dr. Mohd Azidan Abdul Jabar from the Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication, UPM. Additionally, concurrent sessions running simultaneously also captured participants' interest.

This event served as a significant forum for academics, researchers, and professionals in the field of languages and linguistics. It provided them with the opportunity to share knowledge, experiences, and the latest research findings in the fields of foreign languages and linguistics. All participants were encouraged to utilize this opportunity to enhance their understanding and proficiency in this increasingly important field.
