UPM SERDANG, JANUARY 20, 2025 – KLfm, in collaboration with the Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication (FBMK), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), successfully conducted the recording of the programme Borak Tengah Lapar Masuk U for Episodes 1 and 2 at Latar Si JAnswa, FBMK, UPM. Borak Tengah Lapar Masuk U is a special initiative that combines elements of casual Islamic preaching, humour, and motivation, with the objective of engaging the university student community through an interactive and entertaining approach. The programme is recorded live at selected universities, including FBMK, UPM.
An interview session with DJ Aiman and Associate Professor Dr. Adi Yasran Abdul Aziz, Deputy Dean (Academic and Student Affairs), Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication, UPM, was also held before the recording of BTL began. The recording featured invited speakers and artists, namely Ustaz Fuad Mokhtar, Mamak Puteh, and DJ Putera Azwan. The session covered a variety of interesting topics related to preparations for Ramadan, meaningful fasting practices, and the challenges faced by students in balancing academic demands and religious obligations throughout the fasting month. The recording received an overwhelming response from FBMK students who attended the live session, further enlivening the atmosphere.
This programme will be exclusively broadcast throughout the month of Ramadan via RTMKLIK and KLfm’s social media platforms.
The faculty expresses its highest appreciation and gratitude to KLfm for selecting FBMK, UPM, as the recording venue, thus providing the faculty community with the opportunity to be directly involved in this beneficial programme.
