Putra Cakna 4.0 Program: Sharing the Blessings of Lambuk Porridge to Boost the Spirit of Ramadan

SERDANG, 3 March 2026 – Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication (FBMK), Universiti Putra Malaysia in collaboration with the English Language Society (ELS) have jointly made the Putra Cakna 4.0 Program a success through the first component of the program, namely Kongsi Berkat Bubur Lambuk, in conjunction with the arrival of the blessed month of Ramadan.

This program is one of the faculty's welfare and community service initiatives that emphasizes the values of kindness, togetherness and love for each other, in line with the spirit of Ramadan which encourages the practice of sharing sustenance and strengthening relationships in society.

Among the main contents of the program is the preparation and distribution of bubur lambuk, a traditional dish synonymous with the month of Ramadan. The distribution of bubur lambuk is not just providing a meal to break the fast to the community, but also becomes a symbol of sharing sustenance and unity among university and local community members.

Throughout the program, an atmosphere full of warmth and volunteer spirit was clearly evident when Putra Cakna 4.0 staff and ELS members worked together to prepare and distribute bubur lambuk to the recipients. The cheerful faces of the volunteers and recipients reflect the true meaning of the program, which is attended not only by the contribution of energy, but also by sincerity and the spirit of togetherness.

The organization of this activity is hoped to be a catalyst for continued charitable efforts, in addition to strengthening the brotherhood in the community and strengthening the aspirations of the university through the motto "Berilmu Berbakti."

The faculty also expresses its highest appreciation and gratitude to all parties involved directly or indirectly, especially the cooperation from ELS, in making the Putra Cakna 4.0 Program a success. May every effort and sweat poured into it become a blessed charity.
