UPM SERDANG, JULY, 2, 2025 - The Universiti Putra Malaysia Stadium bore witness to the spirited and vibrant Opening Ceremony of the Universiti Putra Malaysia Staff Sports Championship (SUSTAF) 2025. The event was officiated by YBhg. Dato' Prof. Ir. Dr. Ahmad Farhan bin Mohd Sadullah, Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Putra Malaysia.

Also present to enliven the ceremony were Mr. Muhazzam bin Mansor, UPM Registrar; Mrs. Siti Amira binti Shukor, UPM Bursar; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Hamiruce bin Marhaban, Director of the UPM Sports Academy; and Mr. Muhammad Malik bin Ahmad Tobias, Deputy Director of Athlete and Staff Development, UPM Sports Academy.

Eight PTJ contingents participated in the opening parade, showcasing sportsmanship and unity among staff from various faculties and departments.

Group G2—comprising the Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication (FBMK), Faculty of Agriculture (FPP), Faculty of Forestry and Environment (FHAS), Sports Academy (AS), Institute for Social Science Studies (IPSAS), Institute of Tropical Agriculture and Food Security (INTROP), and the Information and Communication Development Centre (iDEC)—secured fourth place in the parade competition.

Congratulations to all contingents for their enthusiastic participation. May this championship continue to promote a healthy lifestyle and strengthen the bonds of camaraderie among the UPM community.
