UPM SERDANG, JANUARY 28, 2025 - On 18 January 2025, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and Shandong Women’s University, China, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a satellite campus. The MoU signing was officiated by Professor Ir. Dr. B.T. Hang Tuah Baharudin, UPM Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Industry and Community Relations), representing the UPM Vice-Chancellor.

Also present were Associate Professor Dr. Hazlina Abdul Halim, Dean of the Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication (FBMK), who acted as a witness, accompanied by Ms. Saliza Mustafa, Chief Administrator of FBMK.

This MoU marks a strategic step towards strengthening UPM's global presence by fostering educational and research collaboration between the two universities and enhancing student and academic staff mobility.
