UPM SERDANG - On 19 November 2024, the Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication, Universiti Putra Malaysia, organised a webinar titled "AI in Daily Life: Transforming the Way We Interact", presented by Tuan Haji Namanzee Harris, CEO of TV AlHijrah.

The webinar aimed to provide participants with insights into the role and potential of artificial intelligence (AI) in supporting daily life, including in learning, research, and task management. Held online via Zoom and Facebook Live, the event successfully attracted 64 participants, comprising students, lecturers, and administrative staff from FBMK, as well as the UPM community.

The session featured discussions on types of AI technologies, such as machine learning and deep learning, along with an in-depth exploration of their applications across various fields. An interactive Q&A session also allowed participants to deepen their understanding of current issues related to AI.

This webinar served as a meaningful platform to enhance participants’ understanding of AI and prepare them to adapt to a world increasingly shaped by this technology.
