Putra FM

The Universiti Putra Malaysia Campus Radio Station, known as Putra FM, is the first digital campus radio station of public universities (IPTA) in the country. The design of the studio and the selection of suitable equipment for this studio were aided by Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM). The UPM campus radio station has operated under the auspices of RTM, specifically under Selangor FM.

The programs on Putra FM emphasize adult education by providing primary educational, informational, and entertainment programs. Since Putra FM is used for academic purposes, the surrounding community will also benefit from it, especially in terms of exposure to knowledge culture, science and technology, including communication and information technology.
