UPM SERDANG, APRIL 16, 2024 - Gomathi Batumalai, a Master of Literature student specializing in Translation and Interpretation at the Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication, has brought pride to Malaysia in the International Public Speaking Competition 2024. The competition, organised by PSGR Krishnammal College for Women in India on March 6, 2024, saw participants from around the globe competing fiercely.

Out of the 100 international participants, Gomathi Batumalai excelled and surpassed others, earning the title of Champion for Malaysia. This achievement is a recognition of Gomathi's communication skills and abilities on the international stage.

She represented Malaysia with excellence and pride, bringing home an impressive victory for her educational institution and the nation as a whole.
