Putra Cakna 2.0: Sharing Blessings through Bubur Lambuk

UPM SERDANG, April 4, 2024 - The eagerly anticipated Ramadan program by the residents of the Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication (FBMK) at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), namely the Bubur Lambuk FBMK Program, has once again been successfully implemented this year. This engaging program has received significant support and sponsorship from Mahsuri Dagang Sdn. Bhd. (Mahsuri Dagang) and Media Mulia Sdn. Bhd. (Media Mulia).

The event that took place on March 19, 2024, with the presence of several important figures including UPM's Vice Chancellor, Datuk Prof. Dr. Ahmad Farhan Mohd. Sadullah; Director of Mahsuri Dagang, Datuk Mohd Roslan Mahayudin; Director of Operations and Editor-in-Chief of Media Mulia, Mohamad Azlan Jaafar; and Chief Commercial Officer of Mahsuri Dagang, Mohd. Jazri Ikmal Hijaz.

The activity was also enlivened by the presence of Guest Chefs, namely Chef Joe (Moh Johari) and Chef Bob (Md Nizam), who volunteered to assist in cooking the famous Terengganu-style bubur lambuk. More than 1000 servings of bubur lambuk were distributed to UPM residents, demonstrating the seriousness and effectiveness of this program.

The success of the Bubur Lambuk FBMK Program this time would not have been possible without the support and cooperation of the FBMK management and staff. Recognition is also given to individuals such as Dr. Rezza (L'apprenti UPM), Puan Diana (L'apprenti UPM), and Puan Hasfalina (Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research & Innovation)) for their contributions in making this bubur lambuk rewang activity a success.

The behind-the-scenes moments of this program were also shared, further adding to the positive impact on all involved. With a spirit of unity and strong cooperation, the Bubur Lambuk FBMK Program continues to be a tradition supported by various parties, contributing to happiness and camaraderie within the UPM community.
