July 21, 2023 | FALCOMM: South Thailand Exploration (JST) is currently underway, where participants consisting of 21 students and accompanied by 5 lecturers and staff from the Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication will undergo a two-week mobility program.

During the first week of the program, virtual activities have been carried out with daily series of events starting from July 17 to July 21, 2023. Today marks the fourth day of the virtual program, and various collaborations have been implemented by the JST participants involving students from several universities both within and outside the country.

Moving on to the second week of the program, from July 23 to July 31, 2023, all JST participants will be in Thailand for the mobility program between two universities, Universiti Putra Malaysia and Walailak University, Thailand. Several planned activities are scheduled for the 7-day stay in Thailand, including the International Seminar: Empowering the Malay Language 2023 (SAPBM), JST Volunteering Program with students from Maahad Islamiyah, Mangrove Reforestation Volunteering Program, and cultural exchange visits around Pattani, Hat Yai, and Narathiwat.
