On Feb 22 to March 13, a total of 23 Bachelor of Arts in French Language Studies under the guidance of Associate Professor Dr. Hazlina Abdul Halim from the Department of Foreign Languages, the Faculty of Modern Languages and Communications has left for France for 19-day mobility programs.
The program aims to:
i) provide students with knowledge and experience on French language and culture
ii) strengthen students’ French language communication skills through indoor and outdoor activities
iii) develop soft skills and strengthening the students' high-level thinking skills
As such, in addition to engaging in French language and cultural sharing programs, participants have successfully introduced a Malay theater presented in French to the Montpellier local community. The students also introduced the Malay dance Ketipang Payung, and several Malaysian dishes such as serunding, dodol, maruku and others.
