INAUGURAL PROF's LECTURE. DR. VIJAYALETCHUMY A/P SUBRAMANIAM
Serdang- Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) organised the 245th Inaugural Lecture by Prof. Dr. Vijayaletchumy A / P Subramaniam. The topic for the Inaugural lecture was "Racial Identity Language Establishment: Transforming Compensation Learning Towards PAK21”.
The event took place on Friday, 13 March 2020, from 9:45 am at Auditorium Jurutera Radin Umar, Engineering Faculty, UPM. Among those present at the event were the academic staff of UPM and from other public universites, teachers and administrators from Teacher Education Institut or Institut Pendidikan Guru as well as students from the field of language and linguistic.
"In this lecture, I focus on compensation in Bahasa Melayu that can be used as innovation in 21st (PAK21) Century Learning. GAD technique is presented to teacher and pupil to learn compensation easily and effective", say Prof. Dr. Vijayaletchumy A / P Subramaniam.
Prof. Dr. Vijayaletchum has been the academic staff in Fakulti Bahasa Moden and Communication, UPM for almost 23 years. Her dedication and excellence as a lecturer led her promotion to Professor in UPM in 2018. Her academic expertise include acquisition and language learning, and dyslexia.
The Inaugural Lecture is an event organised for academic staff as Professor. The event is a platform for professor to deliver lecture to guests from any universities related to her academic work and research.
