Dr. Sharifah Sofiah Syed Zainudin, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Communication, Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication, was invited as a panelist for the segment "Budget 2024: Government's Gift for Empowering Youth in Education" on BERNAMA TV on October 20, 2023.

In the 2024 Budget presented by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, the youth in Malaysia will receive 16 incentives aimed at improving their standard of living, shaping their identities and personalities, reducing the financial burden on students, and nurturing future talent to meet the needs of the industry.
