13 May 2023 - The Department of English, Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication has organized an interview workshop aimed at exposing final year students to the aspects and techniques of writing an attractive and effective resume when applying for a job. Mock interviews are also held to increase self-confidence during the interview process. A half-day workshop entitled, "Get Yourself Ready for Interview", was conducted on 13 May 2023 at the Seri Amar Room, Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication. It received an overwhelming response from 40 participants.

This workshop was conducted by Mr. Hasarus Zulhusni bin Hassan from UTAC Manufacturing Services Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., an officer in the Human Resources Department who has extensive experience and is a qualified HRD Corp Trainer. In the workshop, Mr. Hasarus Zulhusni offered comprehensive guidance on interview preparation from the initial process of researching the company's background to techniques and strategies to help participants stand out in the interview session. Practical activities such as mock interviews help candidates consider thoughtful answers to commonly asked interview questions and practice making a positive impact on their appearance during the interview process.
